Privacy Policy
Carvas ("the game") is made by Daniel Adi Meshulam, Israel ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game uses, who receives it, and the choices you have. Questions or requests: glitchbound1@gmail.com.
In short
- There are no accounts. We do not run our own servers and we do not receive information about you.
- Your progress and settings stay on your device.
- The game shows ads from Google AdMob. Google's ads software collects some device data to show and measure ads, as described below.
- The game asks for your year of birth once. It stays on your device and decides how ads are handled for you.
Information kept on your device
The game saves your progress (levels finished, stars, coins, boosters, streaks), your settings (music, sound effects, vibration, color symbols, reminders) and the year of birth you entered. This is stored only on your device. It is never sent to us. Uninstalling the game, or clearing its data in Android settings, deletes it.
Your year of birth
On first launch the game asks for your year of birth. We use it on your device only, to choose how ads are requested:
- Under 13: every ad request is marked for child-directed treatment. Google then turns off interest-based ads and remarketing for those requests and does not send the Android advertising ID, and ads are limited to content rated for general audiences.
- 13 to 15: ad requests are also marked for child-directed treatment and as a user under the age of consent, so ads are not personalized. Ads are limited to content suitable for most audiences with parental guidance.
- 16 and over: ads may be personalized, subject to the consent and opt-out choices below. Ads are limited to content suitable for most audiences with parental guidance.
The year itself is never sent to anyone. Only the tags above are included in ad requests.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google's User Messaging Platform, provided by Google. According to Google's own disclosure for this SDK (read September 26, 2026), it automatically collects and shares with Google:
| Data | Examples |
|---|---|
| IP address | Your device's IP address, which may be used to estimate the general location of the device. |
| Product interactions | App launches, taps and video views. |
| Diagnostic information | The performance of the game and the SDK, such as app launch time, hang rate and energy use. |
| Device and account identifiers | The Android advertising ID, the app set ID and, if applicable, other identifiers related to signed-in accounts on the device. |
Google uses this data for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention, and encrypts it in transit. Google explains how it uses information from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and its privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
We do not receive this data. AdMob shows us only totals, such as how many ads were shown and what they earned.
Watching an ad for a reward is always your choice. Other ads appear only between levels.
Your choices about ads
- European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland: before any ad loads, Google's consent form asks whether you agree to personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time in the game's Settings under "Ad privacy".
- United States: residents of states with privacy laws can opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising through the "Ad privacy" option in Settings, where it is shown.
- Everyone: in Android settings you can delete or reset your advertising ID (Settings, then Privacy or Google, then Ads), which stops it from being used to personalize ads.
Purchases
Coin packs and "No ads" are bought through Google Play's billing system. Google Play handles the payment; the game never sees your card or payment details. The game keeps on your device a record of what you bought (the product and Google Play's purchase token) so it can give you your items once and restore "No ads" if you reinstall. This record is not sent to us.
Daily reminder
If you turn on the daily reminder, the game schedules a notification on your device. No server is involved and no information leaves your device for it. You can turn it off in the game's Settings or in Android settings.
Ratings
Now and then the game may show Google Play's own rating window. It is run by Google Play; the game never learns whether or how you rated.
Sale and sharing of personal information
We do not sell personal information for money. Some US state laws treat letting advertising partners collect device identifiers for targeted advertising as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. The game does this only through Google AdMob as described above, never for players who entered an age under 16, and you can opt out as described in "Your choices about ads".
Children
The game is made for a general audience. It asks for the year of birth in a neutral way before any ad is requested. For players who enter an age under 13, ads are requested with child-directed treatment as described above, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child's information was collected, contact us at glitchbound1@gmail.com.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep no data about you, because we never receive any. Data on your device stays until you uninstall the game or clear its data. Google keeps the data its SDK collects according to its own policies; see policies.google.com/technologies/retention.
Security
Your saved game is stored in the game's private storage on your device, which other apps cannot read. Google states that the data its ads SDK sends is encrypted in transit.
International transfers
Google may process the data its SDK collects in the United States and other countries where it operates, under the safeguards described in its privacy policy.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU and UK GDPR, or US state privacy laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the use of personal information, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because we hold no personal information about you, we cannot look any up; for data held by Google, use the tools linked above. You can always contact us at glitchbound1@gmail.com and we will answer.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date, and the game will link to it.
